April is the halfway point to Halloween! It’s also Earth Month. The easiest way to celebrate both is too plant new pumpkins for the upcoming Halloween season!

blue skies and white clouds

March has been a little rough, but I have a new haiku to share, celebrating both St. Patrick’s Day and the recent horror show that is the United States. Not everything that glitters is gold.

beware the trickster
whose only concern is gold
death is imminent
Be safe out there.
This year, I’m returning to my roots and posting simple horror haiku.

snow moon bears witness
murder, rape, and dark chaos
heartbroken fools
This year, I’m returning to my roots and posting simple horror haiku.

ICE cold hands
shocking murder in plain sight
dead of winter
You better watch out.
You better not pout.
You better not cry,
or you’ll give your hiding spot away.
Our theme this month is A Christmas to Dismember and it pairs perfectly with December’s cold moon, aptly named for the dip in temperatures. Winter is coming….but if ask any left american, it’s been here since last January.

under a cold moon
a Christmas to Dismember
hiding from Santa
Be safe out there.

Happy Halloweek! Posting a special Halloween haunted haiku for Monday Macabre.

voices on the wind
spooky scares all week long
thin spirit veil
Happy October! We are a haunted nation, full of demons masquerading as god’s children, in places we never dreamed, doing things we don’t want to imagine.
Resist evil.
October’s full moon is the first supermoon of the year, a harvest moon, named for time of year when crops are plentiful. Too bad no one is around to pick them.

screams that no one hears
beware of those haunted souls
nation full of ghosts
Be safe out there.
